Been another busy week! It's sunny but chilly & windy today, but mostly they STILL want to play outside in short bursts.
Was able to grab a few pics, and tried to catch every single one of the pups!
Cutie Cribo
Sidewinder
Starting to get a long whippet snoot!
Canebrake squinting in the sunshine.
"Lady! Why you keep pointing that camera at me?!"
Mr. Bushmaster Budd! Such a sweet boy!
Cantil - wasn't feeling like going out in the wind at the moment.
Indigo was snoozing inside, too.
Blue Racer - not snoozing, but also staying in!
Timber & Cribo...he looks a bit put-out by her crawling on him! 😆
"Thank goodness! That little pesky pup is gone."
And just when he thought it was safe to fall asleep in the sun, Timber gets besieged by Coral, Cribo, and Mamba.
Copperhead!
Bushmaster Budd found a toy out in the yard, and
proceeded to sprint all over the deck with it.
Black Mamba & Copperhead posing for the camera.
All of the DVAS pups make a LOT of eye contact with the humans & the camera.
Cribo came in for a bit of a warm-up session. Nothing like sharing a nice dog bed in the sun with your sister Blue Racer.
Here comes Bushmaster Budd!
Racer says, "Hey! We were napping peacefully...annnnd...I'll take that toy, sir."
Meanwhile, Canebrake, Sidewinder, Trinket, and Indigo were also warming up.
Trinket says, "Escoooooose me, Sidewinder, while I step over & on you."
Hopi was busy outside still, ripping around.
Canebrake, Sidewinder, and Indigo - all looking pretty wiped out.
Cribo - back outside in the sun.
Coral!
Busy Hopi.
Coral
Copperhead
There's the Hopi side-eye we all know and love.
Copperhead lost the cottonwood-bark fuzz she was playing with behind herself and had quite a time trying to get it back (without bothering to just get up, turn around, and grab it).
Trinket came along and grabbed the same piece of fuzz a few seconds later.
Free-for-all with Mamba, Copperhead, Hopi, and Trinket.
Meanwhile, Bushmaster Budd was back with his toy...filthy from bouncing around in the yard, but very contented. A tired, dusty puppy is a happy puppy!
Cantil was queen of the head-tilt today.
The view just as I opened the door for pups to come in and warm up again!
