Another big "first" today - the pups gained freedom from the whelping pen into the living room. They thought all the cushy dog beds were fabulous, but the nesting bed (also the favorite of all the adults) was the BEST. I may never get Patsy off of it.
They loved having room to sprint around and play with some new toys. No one was freaked out or overwhelmed. Brave little bunch. A grand success all around.
Patsy says, "Where has this bed been all my life?"
Meanwhile, Zoot was busy shaking the bed covers like a crazy puppy.
Rabbit and Concorde ganging up on Zoot.
Concorde was having so much fun, his tail was ALLL the way up over his back like a husky!
Dingo joined Patsy in the nest-bed.
"Don't make me get up... ever."
"Oh, hey... this is snuggsville!"
Pretty soon, Zoot joined them.
"Maybe I can just bite THIS bed, too...."
Yep - Rabbit got in on the bed party, too.
Zoot - chewing brother Patsy's ear.
She was determined to have that ear for lunch until I gave her a toy to chew on instead.
Tongue-out Tuesday!
Every time the camera snapped, out came that tongue!
Finally! Got a pic of her without the tongue!
Meanwhile, Concorde was starting to wind down.
He snuggled up to the giant octopus toy - a safer bet than snuggling with his bitey sister, Zoot.
Back at the next bed - Dingo's got the toy, Patsy is sound alseep, and Zoot is finally starting to wind down.
Concorde - still snuggling his octopus.
Almost off to the land of Z's.
