Operation Stealth Whippets: HG pups are 4 weeks old!

I can't believe these guys are already 4 weeks old. Time is just flying by, and they're growing like weeds.

They've now logged:

3 toenail trims - soon to be 4!
collective weight gain of 16lbs (they started out at 3.72lbs as a group, and now weigh 19.8)
5 trips to the training facility (equaling 10 hours in the van and 700 miles!)
3 different proteins tried out (duck, pork, turkey) with their raw dog food grinds

This week, they graduated out of their pools and into the whelping pen, and are adjusting just fine to sleeping downstairs in the living room at night. Lyla asks to go feed them between about 12:30 & 1:00am, and again between 4:30 and 5:00am. They're usually sleeping when we get downstairs, but always ready to eat when they see and hear her outside the pen!

As I say with every litter: Crate training begins early! And anyone who thinks crates are 'cruel' is misguided. Even when they were not quite 4 weeks old yet, they instinctively climbed right into the safety of the 'den' (crate) to sleep.
